Chapter Six · 06

Spaces for Living

Open enough to gather. Defined enough to feel intimate.

“A well-designed home supports togetherness without asking everyone to do the same thing.”

The main living spaces were planned around connection. Sightlines remain open, movement feels natural, and the kitchen, family room, and outdoor areas participate in one larger experience.

At the same time, each zone retains its own character. The fireplace anchors the room. Furniture groupings can feel intimate. The front living area offers a quieter setting for conversation, reading, or welcoming guests.

The result is flexibility without fragmentation—a home that can feel lively during a celebration and peaceful again once the evening winds down.

Builder's Design Note

The fireplace, furniture zones, recessed-light layout, and circulation paths were considered together so the room would work beautifully after staging.
